Today I need to post that I am slightly
horrified about the signing of the Healthcare
Bill. I not only have a moral confict, I
also have a professional conflict.
It directly affects my livelihood as well as the
livelihood of my friends/coworkers. If I wanted
to live in a Socialist Country I would have moved
to Freaking Canada!!!!!!! I am saddened and slightly
dismayed about the current state of things. Then this
morning I read a quote that my good (very politically
active) friend Casey posted relating to this mornings
preceedings.
It reminded me that there is still hope!! thanks Casey!

I still belive this to be the greatest Country in the World.
I cry every time the National Anthem is sung and
have no patience or tolerance for acts of antipatriotism!
If I wasn't truly Patriotic I would have a
hard time sending my husband to war!
In the end I need to remember that God will prevail,
Good will prevail and this country, despite men who fail,
will prevail!

AMEN! And we are so grateful for your patriotism that you have a husband that is willing to fight for a country and you are willing to let him go. We can't say thanks enough.
As I read that quote by Harold B. Lee I totally thought it was recently given... like in the last year or so. Boy was I surprised to read who the author was!
We appreciate Dave's willingness to serve this country too, and the many, many sacrifices you make so he can do so. You're a strong woman!
BTW - your blog background is the same pattern as the fabric I made my hooter hider out of!
That was good. I have had similar feelings as you. It's amazing how our view of things can be intensified because of how this bill will effect the places that we both work.

I ditto that! Loved this blog! I think you should send it to Glenn Beck! We just have to keep his nation in our prayers.... always...
