Jaxon The Snake Man

Last weekend I got called out to the backyard
by Jaxon . As I walked out the door I saw Jaxon
swinging a long rope very quickly over his head.
I chastised him and told him not to swing the rope
so close to his brother. I was quickly corrected
and told it wasn't a rope, but a snake that Boo the cat
brought to Jaxon. Unfortunately for both me and
the snake, he was still alive. Jaxon was thrilled.
He thought he had acquired a new pet.
He played with it while he waited for my mom,
dad, and gma to get home. He was so excited to
show it to everyone!! To the horror of both
my mom and gma the snake was still alive when
they got home!
When I called David to tell him Jaxon found a
snake the only thing he said was "make
sure he doesn't hurt the snake!" Nice!
We eventually talked him into throwing
the snake back into the river bottoms.
However, he wanted to be called Jaxon
The Snake Man for the rest of the weekend!

YIKES! Brooks and I are both terrified of snakes. I can't say I would have been even Remotely as patient as you were with his new found friend. Hats off to you, you brave little mommy!

This still amazes me! You'd think that snake was a cute little kitten the way he was treating it. Too cute he is! Even if I was scared to death of him while he had that stupid snake!!! Love ya Jax!

I remember Jaxon as a BABY!!! Always outside with the big kids, always in a diaper. It was so funny to watch that tiny little man go! Love hearing from you Krisha! I miss you!

And, lovely cupcakes, by the way!
