We're Alive and Transformers

Enough already about being suck a slacker blogger!
we are alive, but have been busy or gone! Between
dance recitals, ballgames, work, swimming lessons,
and graduations- who has time to blog?! We finally
got some time for R&R this last week! Dave flew
in last weekend and we have been in Park City. It
has been so nice to have him here with us. the kids
were SO excited to see him (it had been 6 months
after all!) I am going to have to play blog catch up
this week. I have a million pics I need to get on
before I forget. I hope you are all having a great
summer (now that the rain has stopped!)! BTW-
I dragged my hubby, dad and BIL to see
Transformers last night at midnight!! It
FREAKING ROCKED!!!!! Just thought I'd let
you know!!!

Eccles Dinosaur Park

We decided on this beautiful Spring day in Utah
to enjoy it outdoors at the Eccles Dinosaur Park
in Ogden. The kids had a blast!!!

Riding Bikes

There are things I love about living in
a really small town. Tuesday the kids
decided they wanted to ride thier bikes
to go see my mom who was working late
at school. They didn't want me to go
with them, but obviously I insisted. We came to
a compromise and I rode alongside them
in the car. Everyone was so cute to stop
and wait for the kids, they waved, and
I even had a few people stop and say
how cute it was that they were riding together.
I often give the town of Tremonton a bad
wrap, but it was a really good reminder
of the all the good things about my "Home
Town"!

Jaxon The Snake Man

Last weekend I got called out to the backyard
by Jaxon . As I walked out the door I saw Jaxon
swinging a long rope very quickly over his head.
I chastised him and told him not to swing the rope
so close to his brother. I was quickly corrected
and told it wasn't a rope, but a snake that Boo the cat
brought to Jaxon. Unfortunately for both me and
the snake, he was still alive. Jaxon was thrilled.
He thought he had acquired a new pet.
He played with it while he waited for my mom,
dad, and gma to get home. He was so excited to
show it to everyone!! To the horror of both
my mom and gma the snake was still alive when
they got home!
When I called David to tell him Jaxon found a
snake the only thing he said was "make
sure he doesn't hurt the snake!" Nice!
We eventually talked him into throwing
the snake back into the river bottoms.
However, he wanted to be called Jaxon
The Snake Man for the rest of the weekend!

Who needs the Ace of Cakes?!!!

So I have a secret confession..... I love to bake!!
Actually I LOVE to cook- period!
Noone die of shock!
Last week we celebrated
my adorable niece Cassi Sue's 1st B-day.
I was so excited to get to help with the party!
I got tasked with cupcakes and this is what
I turned out! Pretty dang good for an
amateaur!! Ace of Cakes eat your heart out!!
(unfortunately no blowtorches or chainsaws were used!)

Cookies with Gma

Flour fights, licking the beaters,
cookie dough and eating more frosting
than we put on the cookies.... Good Times!!

Cassidy's addiction

My neice Cassidy learned to drink through
a straw...it just took a little Diet
Coke to get her trained!! Thanks gma
for teaching ALL our children to love
the "good stuff". (even though I hate it!)
